I bought Boardcom BCM4318 for my Dell D600 and replaced the PRO/Wireless.. Mac OS recognize automatically and work perfectly.
Now, I still can’t change the resolution to 1400×1050 even after add those 2 lines in com.apple.boot.plist……anybody can help? I added those 2 lines just above Kernel, it it correct?

Why not this is for work of me? I am try many times with the gateway or HP not having working the Dell? Do I driver for the A17 and also wifi display adapting to resolution? Help me making the Mac 600M Dell with ProSet adapting?

Hi Chuz696, you may forgot to type exactly of this line “/sbin/mount -uw /” the last “/” since I got the same read-only problem at first. But don’t know why the resolution still the same!? Even can’t change at “Display” after os loaded.
Now I still can’t make the wifi work as my card is Intel PROSet/Wireless 2200 even I installed iwi2200.dmg driver! I am consider to buy a Broadcom instead…..

degreecy – how did you get the wifi working? I look at the link you have above and cannot figure it out for the life of me. Read the link page a bunch of times but can’t find what you refer to. Have a D600 with Wifi card. OS will not recognize the Wifi card nor the onboard NIC.

I finally got it working using this method. I had a few difficulties with WiFi, but ended up finding this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t51725.html which worked ! (Search for D600 in the post, there are some comments a long way down about getting the kext from 10.5.5.).

Does anyone have iPhoto’09 (v8) installed and working ? It works but you can’t view photos bigger than thumbnails and editing leaves blank screen. I’ve read posts about this being lack of Quartz Extreme, but I can’t believe that would stop you being able to view photos larger than thumbnails… ?

Anyone found any other ATI 9000 drivers or solutions to help this ?
