Various Windows 7 Forums are indicating that Micosoft seeded the Release Candidate 1 of Windows 7 to Developers. Sources also indicated that the RC1 is Tagged with build 7048. At the moment no screenshots are available for confirmation.String of 7048.winmain_win7rc1.090211-1625.  indicates it was compiled on Feb. 11th, 2009 at 4:25 PM PST.The build string says it isWin7RC1. The last leaked Windows 7 build 7022 was compiled on January 15, 2009, at 6:50 PM and the leaked screenshots of the 7032 build indicates that it was compiled on January 29, 2009. So we can conclude that there might not be much difference between the 7032 and RC1 since we have seen a few changes from 7000 build to 7022.

Microsoft has yet to confirm or deny that, as at just a little over one month since the public launch of Windows 7 Beta it has started compiling builds of the operating system belonging to the RC branch.It seems that Microsoft is really in turbo mode for windows 7.
