80 applications running simultaneously on Netbook with OSX86.

CultofMac reported a wonderful post showing a netbook with OSX86 & 80 running applications simultaneously. It proves the capability of both OSX and Netbook.According to CultofMac “I’ve been trying to determine Atom’s performances with Mac OS X for some time now, and I think this shows Atom’s netbooks are not so crippled!” Netbooks are a small fraction & growing very rapidly and grabbing a good amount of laptop market share. This experiment is answer for those who doubts the possibility of netbooks & Intel Atom Processor.

Guide to unlock your 3G iPhone with YellowSnow 0.9.8

Yellow-Snow is a small daemon that is launched on boot.  It injects the payload at boot and also whenever there is a baseband reset.  You won’t notice anything about it other than that your third-party sim now works.  It’s a small program and unobtrusive.The 0.9.8 release changed things only related to exit from airplane mode and wi-fi. Apple Fixes iTunes Crash for Firmware Update 2.2.1

It is reported by a large number of users on various forums about the iTune crash after upgrading to 2.2.1,MacRumors has posted an e-mail from the iTunes Store Team sent to iPhone / iPod touch users that are possibly experiencing the issue. PearC Launches the PC with Mac OS X.

After Psystar USA now it’s time for PearC to reveal their lineup of PC with Mac OSX. PearC launced three models named  PearC Starter at 499,00€ , PearC Advanced at 799,00€ and PearC Professional at 1499,00€.the company advertises the PearC computer as “the PC with Mac OS X.” Apple’s EULA (End User License Agreement) clearly states that only Apple hardware is allowed to run Mac OS X Leopard. Enable Finger Gestures on an Early 2008 Macbook Pro/Air.

If you have an early 2008 MacBook Pro, or a Revision A MacBook Air (like me!), Engadget shown that they can be hacked to support the 4-finger swipe gestures of the October MacBooks and Revision B MacBook Air.
Unfortunately, the original hack required you to reinstall Leopard, using an installer CD from one of the newer MacBooks, and was also quite complicated, involving editing .kext files and fooling the Leopard installer into thinking you had a newer MacBook.

It’s not yet announced on iPhone Dev Team blog for download but twitted by dev team“ yellowsn0w 0.9.8 is on Cydia for those who were seeing wifi or slowness issues with 0.9.7.
