Installous, Install’s your Cracked App by Crackulous.

Last time we talked about Crackulous a great & free application to crack your existing Applications into Decrypted IPA once you got your IPA then to install this file into another iPhone/iPod Installous is required. Installous lets you download apps that you crack using Crackulous and it’s really very automated and user-friendly. Minimum requirement for using Installous running firmware 2.0 on your iPhone and iPod Touch and you must be jailbroken.
To get Installous visit here. at hackulo.us before getting the Application you have to be a registerd member it take’s only One minute to fill the forum.
What does this application exactly do?
Well if you launch Installous from springboard, it’ll list every single IPA that you’ve download, and installing them is as simple as a tap, and hitting Install. Installous will easily install the app, and the selected IPA will install! A respring isn’t even required! Just wait a few seconds and the selected IPA will be installed! Don’t like an app you downloaded? Swipe it to the right and select Delete! Poof! It’s gone!
(Note: Your iPhone will freeze for a few seconds as the IPA installation is finalizing. Don’t freak out when it gets stuck!)
I have a 3g iphone with 3.1.2 firmware, how do i get installous?
I have installous on my old iphone 3 and would like to transfer the purchases to my new iphone 4. I don’t want to put any new software on the iphone 4 as the jailbreaking/unlocking etc software screwed up my iphone 3 in the end, not to mention wiping everything when I updated.
The apps are in itunes but the ones from installous won’t transfer to the iphone 4, how do I get around this?

Ok, I have this major problem that happens every time I download an app from Installous. Everything goes right until the part when I actually have to install it. I do it the right way (clicking the app and press install. Then, I wait until it says installed) but after it says installed it doesn’t appear in my home screen. Is there any solution to this problem? I’m sure it is a common issue cause i’ve asked many people
Hey guys, last time I tried downloading call of duty zombies Nazi zombies, it downloaded right, but I can’t get other maps because it’s not the purchased version I guess. adrian: to delete an app hold your finger on the app for a little over a second and all apps wiil shake then press the x in the left corner
Gc: yes you would click on the links right under where it says lunch app store to get the newest version
Eric: you are downloading the apps but you are forgetting to install them
from installous click on downloads again if the app doesnt show and click on the app then click install
jake: how about instead of using black rain use spirit it automatically does it for you look up the spirit iphone/ipod mod on google

U must not have downloaded the app fully. Check the size of the app and make sure the one u downloaded is the same size as the original 1. If it still doesn’t work try using a different link. Hope this helps [^_^].
I am new to the Iphone world and I am happy cause I can download all kinds of apps thru installous…but my question is…are these apps free?… I see pricing of apps all the way down to the bottom…

@Nivash you can add the tap tap revenge from app store cuz its free.
You can drag and drop .IPA files from your desktop to the private/var/mobile/Documents/Installous/Downloads directory via Cyberduck or WinSCP. After doing so, they show up in the downloads of Installous and can then be installed.

If it goes straight to the home screen after starting the app…guess what…it crashed…just like on a computer. At any rate, I have a question of my own. I was using Installous to install apps because I am running Linux (Ubuntu 9.10) and there is no way to sync an iPhone unless I run Windows in a virtual machine, which for a long time I didn’t do. Now that I’ve downloaded all these apps and I’m running Windows in a VM, will I lose my apps? I’ve deleted the .ipa’s after installing to conserve space, so I really don’t want to lose that much stuff.

Don’t worry, it usually says that. I’m not sure if this is true, but cracked apps take up a lot more memory space than the ones you get from the app store. So don’t worry.
ok well im downloading mafia wars and it is 6757 kb doees that sound right cause i dont want to be downloading porn or some other thing?
to download apps from installous just go to search type in the game u want and then click on it when i shows up! then click on the latest version of it and click on the user freindly websites!(some of the user friendly websites r slow so it depends on which one u pick that would make ur game load faster! after that it either gunna show u codes that u have to put in and then press download or its just gunna say download. each site is different so after u do that its gunna go back and it gunna say”download or install” personally i would pick install! its alot safer and quicker! so after that it should download! and if it dosent and it says cant find exicutible then go to settings and click on dirty method but thats only if the clean method dose not work! so injoy!!!

For those who have dependency problems, install the package afc2add from the modmyi repo (which should be included by default) and this will install the required packages, and you will be good to go.
me too whenever i try to download installous it always tells me Depends: com.ericasadun.utilities.undefinied?

you have to select the app in the downloaded items section.
then it will prompt you if you want to install it.
Does anyone know why I cant download apps from Installous, I select the apps I want download them but they just sit in my downloaded items file?

I was wondering how to update cracked apps. I read somewhere that if you use installous and install using the clean method it updates for you automatically.. I’m just wondering if this is true and if not how do I upadate my cracked apps and still keep the data… such as the high score of the game when updating… thanks…

I have 2.2.1, and Installous. Oh, and also no WiFi or SSH (I got the Installous from a Wi-Fi caffee). Can I download apps from http://www.appulo.us , and then somehow add them to my iPod Touch with, saaay – iTunes?

The apps you installed won’t receive any updates, so yes you’re stuck untill you download the new version… (and delete your previous version).
If the app(s) you downloaded via installous don’t work, you should try another link/mirror (always use the iPod friendly links). There are often broken links and you can report them on the hackulo.us forum. If they still don’t work try dirty mode.
If your apps doesnt install change it to dirty mode.

Can/will apps installed via Installous receive version updates via iTunes ala regular AppStore apps? Or are we stuck with whatever version of the .ipa we downloaded/installed until we delete that and download/install the latest version .ipa (and thereby losing our saved app data)?
