Google Earth 5.0 is supported with Ocean Imagery.

googleearthscreenRecently Google updated Google earth to 5.0 with some very new features.Now Google Earth 5.0 is capable of ocean imagery, historical and touring.The Major update in Google Earth 5.0  is the ocean view, where users can view and browse ocean levels that take users on a tour of selected places, with images taken from partnership programs, like National Geographic.In the new ocean layer, you can plunge all the way to the floor of the sea, view exclusive content from partners like BBC and National Geographic, and explore 3D shipwrecks like the Titanic.If you haven’t tried your hand on Google earth 5.0 yet, you can grab your Free copy here.   

According to Google with ocean in Google Earth, you can:

“ Dive beneath the surface and visit the deepest part of the ocean, the Mariana Trench.Explore the ocean with top marine experts including National Geographic and BBC.Learn about ocean observations, climate change, and endangered species & Discover new places including surf, dive, and travel hot spots and shipwrecks. “
