PC EFI V9 is new bootloader from Netkas with few nice features, it’s now based on Chameleon codebase.This one click installer can be used for installing PC EFI V9 from Netkas for future updates.PC EFI V9 is specially designed for 10.5.6 & above and it also supports DSDT patching.
so, it supports all what Chameleon supports ( including /Extra Feature’s)
and it has few new patches applied:
1) dsdt overwrite patch from mackerintel
2) resume from hibernate(aka deep sleep) support from me (-nowake boot option to bypass resume, if u dont want it on current boot)
3) 64-bit kernel loading support from me ( -x64 boot option to tell it to boot 64-bit kernel (only snow leo kernel has 64-bit part)
4) it supports new Extension.mkext location as in new snow leo Now few words about hibernate, to activate it u can use e.g. this widget – deepsleep.free.fr Bootloader will check /var/vm/sleepimage, and if it has proper signature, it will try to resume system
Now about problems, some systems fails to go to deepsleep state(e.g. gigabyte, asus), it’s caused by RTC bug in dsdt

Would this support Tiger as well? Or is it strictly Leopard? Tiger would be of special use for Netbooks. Also for people making ATV mods on boxes like EEEBOX (yea I know you can get an ATV cheaper but I had this one lying around).

Why r u worrying with Leopard check here http://www.ihackintosh.com/2009/02/80-applications-running-simultaneously-on-netbook-with-osx86/ Leopard is a good option on Netbooks. PC EFIV9 doesn’t supported Tiger at all.
Except that I am trying to build an ATV setup. ATV OS is based on 10.4.8 and above. So I need to install Tiger to get this built. That is the idea.
I know I can install Leopard, I have done it successfully already. I just want to know if there is any way I can get Tiger to install instead.

I have a Compaq mini 110c-1010ez HP and I want to install Mac OS 10.6 on this PC. I received a gift of the DVD MAC OS 10.6 full version.

What are we supposed to do with this zip. I suspect most people will know how to open the zip file. However it would be nice if there were instructions in the same on what to do next?? For a one click installer there sure are a lot files. None of which save the rtf appear to launch a windows application. Please provide instructions for those of us who have no clue…

I have an ipod touch 3g 8gb . I tried to jailbreak it the other day with blackra1n. It was working and I did everything told, except on my compaq mini when i clicked “make it ra1n” it said it didn’t work. Can anyybody help me figure out how to get past that part and jailbreak my ipod? Help me plz, thanks, and asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
